Porsche 911 GT2 RS
The 911 GT2 RS remains a delicate topic at Porsche, albeit if it's one model that the Zuffenhauzen brand's fanbase wants to see, it's this one, based on the latest iteration of the 911, of course.

Various reports have come and gone, providing contradicting information, yet we haven’t lost our faith, as we still believe there’s a brand-new Porsche 911 GT2 RS out there, presumably with hybrid firepower and perhaps offering over 700 horsepower combined – or close to 1,000 hp, depending on whom you ask.

The new 911 GT2 RS is expected to come out for the 2027 model year, and that means it should celebrate its public unveiling sometime in 2026. However, we're not here to talk about the new Widowmaker, but the old one, which remains one of the greatest versions of the 911 Porsche that has ever been made. After all, it's hard to compete against it at the racetrack, even if it hasn't been around for a few good years now.

Every Porsche fanatic and their pet can tell you that the previous-gen 911 GT2 RS had 690 horsepower (700 ps/515 kW) on tap. The 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine pumped out 553 pound-feet (750 Nm) of torque and was married to a 7sp DCT. This model ticks the 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) acceleration box in less than three seconds (2.8s), so it certainly has the grunt to match its muscular looks.

Speaking of grunt, we should proceed to the reason behind this story, which is G-Power's take on this model. The tuner's proposal unleashes no fewer than 850 horses, which are likely European. If that's the case, then it translates to 838 brake horsepower and 625 kilowatts. Mind you, that's a healthy boost over the stock supercar, and it might just be superior to the upcoming generation, assuming that it debuts with over 700 hp and not closer to the four-digit output territory.

G-Power did not have much else to say about this Porsche 911 GT2 RS, but we absolutely love the spec. After all, what's there not to love about a German supercar that mixes a silver paint finish with multiple black accents, boasts sporty aero, and rides on a set of golden wheels? We should also tell you that the tuner offers 789 hp (800 ps/588 kW) and 769 hp (780 ps/574 kW) power boosts for this Porsche 911 GT2 RS, as well as a whole bunch of other extras, including completely reupholstered interiors.

Now, if we were honest, we'd say that we would never ever tune a Porsche 911 GT2 RS, as our ideal configuration is exactly the same as it left the factory floor. You do not have to agree with us on that, as we'll still be friends if you'd rather tune yours. But would you?
