2.5T AWD is what Genesis USA calls the most affordable specification of the bunch, which is rocking 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet (422 Newton-meters) of torque. Upgrading to the 3.5T AWD means $69,600 at the very least, 375 mechanical horses, and 391 pound-feet (530 Newton-meters) at full chatter.
All trims are nicely equipped, including the 2.5T AWD. In this configuration, the G80 comes with standard leatherette upholstery, satellite navigation, and 18-inch alloy wheels, among other goodies. The Advanced builds on it with 19s, a panoramic sunroof, and premium audio from the folks at Bang & Olufsen.
Stepping up to the 2.5T Sport Prestige AWD means Advanced plus a 360-degree camera system, 20-inch sport alloy wheels, and leather seating. The most expensive trim level offers carbon-fiber trim and Nappa leather seats.
The rear-biased luxury sedan is available with a dual-motor electric setup as well, and soon enough, the high-performance G80 EV Magma Concept will morph into a series-production model. Similarly to the Genesis Electrified G80, the Magma isn't expected with segment-leading range from its high-voltage battery.
Starting at $74,375 for model year 2024, the Genesis Electrified G80 cannot do better than 282 miles (454 kilometers) on a full charge. By comparison, the most affordable Tesla Model 3 and Model S offer 363 and 410 miles, respectively.
